Have you ever been in the grocery store, watching that perfect mother with her two perfect children gliding effortlessly down each aisle? No temper tantrums for sweets, perfectly organized coupons, all organic and healthy foods in the cart…the perfect little family. Well, that’s not us. It’s not real life! Real mothers have one kid in the front of the cart missing a shoe, another riding on the back whining for a snack, and a third on the floor crying because Mommy won’t hold her. Real mothers are trying to balance the grocery list and the budget, while hunting for the missing shoe on aisle 8, just hoping to make it out of the store before all the kids have a complete meltdown.
Perhaps the perfect family does exist somewhere….but not here.
